February 27th 2014 - Run8 Studios Ltd. - There is a new upgrade out for Run8 Train Simulator that introduces humping and the kicking of cars to Run8. The new "humping zone" at Barstow is also the Run8's team first implementation of adding AI to the program which is something the programmer said long ago that he would add AI if he could do it right, and this upgrade is a fairly good start in that direction. BNSF Z-CHISTO stops at Needles, CA for a crew change before long pooling to Bakersfield, CA

October 12th & 13th 2013 - Western America Railroad Museum (WARM) Barstow Rail Festival - It's that time of the year again and the Run8 Team is heading out to Barstow, CA for the annual rail festival on Saturday and Sunday. They will be showcasing their new BNSF Cajon Sub for the new Run8 Train Simulator that they have been working on inside the Santa Fe Depot (the museum) next to the Harvey House so please come on out and see us and show your support for the museum!

August 24 th , 2013 - More News from Run8Studios, the crew celebrated their one year anniversary of their new train simulator program called Run 8 Train Simulator with members of the Run8 community on some of the 7/24 multi-player servers over the weekend. Since the release of the program the dev team has released several new DLC packages for Run8 including a hot new route, the BNSF Needles Sub, a beautiful Amtrak add-on, and some new rolling stock packs which included various piggyback and autorack cars. And in honor of the one year anniversary the Run8 team offered a free download of some very cool 57ft mechanical refrigerator cars. March 27th , 2013 - More News from Run8Studios, the crew has released their first DLC packs for Run8 which adds Autoracks and Piggybacks to the new sim. The crew is also happy to report that the Amtrak DLC and the new Needles Sub route is almost finished! In other news, most of the 3DTS crew has migrated over to the new Run 8 Train Simulator platform and are working on various projects for that platform. It's been a great run on the MSTS side for the last 11 years, but it looks like it's time to move on.

We will continue to sell and support our addon's for MSTS as long as there is still some interest in them. And we also want to thank all of our customers for their patronage and support over the years and we hope to see you in Run 8 in the future.

Note added 9/8/2012: We have had a few emails regarding the Yuma Sub project we were working on for MSTS, well that project is dead now as no one here wants to work on it. So if we do decide to do the UP Yuma Sub again it will be for Run 8 Train Simulator.. maybe after the Run 8 Needles Sub ;)
